Summary
Patients who are wishing to register with an NHS Dentist across Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan can register themselves on the General Dental Services waiting list.
Once you have completed this form, you will have been automatically added to the centralised waiting list and do not need to do anything further. You will be contacted when a place at a practice near to your home address becomes available.

Please note, this centralised waiting list is specifically for patients in the Cardiff and Vale area only. Please contact your local Health Board if you are outside of this area.
Areas covered: Cardiff & Vale of Glamorgan Local Authorities Covering post codes: CF3 - CF24, CF61 - CF71. Areas excluded are Castleton and Marshfield.

Referral Criteria: If you are experiencing dental pain you should contact your dentist to get an appointment. All dentists should have capacity for emergencies if you are on their list. If your dental pain eases with painkillers and there is no swelling to your face and your breathing is not affected you should be able to wait until your dentist can see you.
If you do not have a regular dental practice or you are experiencing dental pain out of hours you can contact the emergency dental helpline.
